Tomei Consolidated Berhad (692959-W) is an established jeweller listed on Bursa Malaysia and established since 1968. We are expertise in retail and manufacturing in gold and jewellery industry, has a current network of four retail brand – Tomei, Goldheart, Le Lumiere and De Beers with a total of more than 50 branches in Malaysia.

Apart from our own extensive collection, our retail showrooms house exclusive international brand names such as Le Lumiere – Diamond of Light TM, Prima Gold range and Batar Gold.

 We are seeking for individual who is dynamic, result-oriented, motivated team player, proactive with good interpersonal skills to be part of our team.

  1. Management Trainee

    Responsibilities:

    • The main focus of the program is to engage the candidate to expose them to the retail business in the different areas and new business developed by the Company and to develop them to be the future leader of the Company.
    • During the 6 months program, you will go through a tailor made program suited to your academic background and career direction.
    • Trainees will be exposed to various functions in the Company and will be challenged with assigned task.

    Requirements:

    • Candidates must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in any discipline with minimum CGPA of 3.0 or First / Second Upper Class honors.
    • An all rounder, active in co-curricular activities and has held leadership positions.
    • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
    • Demonstrates positive mind set and attitude.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, resourceful and has strong analytical skills.
    • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  2. Internship

    Responsibilities:

    • Internship placement available at various department and function such as Marketing, E-Business, Digital Content, Graphic Design, Inventory Support and etc.
    • you will go through at least 3 months of placement that suited to your academic background.

    Requirements:

    • Candidates must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in any discipline with minimum CGPA of 3.0 or First / Second Upper Class honors.
    • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
    • Demonstrates positive attitude and eager to learn.

  3. Gemologist

    Responsibilities:

    • To perform quality inspection of the Company’s precious gemstones and ensure conformance to quality standards.
    • To grade stones according to colours, perfection and quality of cut.
    • To act as a gemstone consultant to related parties.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must be a Graduate Gemologist from Gemological Institute of America or its equivalent.

  4. Jewellery Designer

    Responsibilities:

    • To design jewellery with great sentimental significant or symbolic meaning.
    • To work closely with production department and to ensure the finished design meets the requirement.
    • To research jewellery trends and keeping an eye on the fashion world to keep abreast of developments in the industry.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Art / Design / Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
    • Preferable with 1 year of related working experience.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  5. Planning & Sourcing Executive / Assistant

    Responsibilities:

    • To assist in sort out raw materials according to work orders.
    • To do physical stock counts and quality checking.
    • To perform monthly stocks take.
    • To handle administration works which related to stock management.
    • To perform any other duties as assigned by superior.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM/Diploma/ Degree in any field.
    • Preferable with 1 year of related working experience.
    • Required language: English & Chinese.

  6. Inventory Executive / Assistant

    Responsibilities:

    • To provide excellent administrative support to the department.
    • To facilitate the stock and record into inventory management system.
    • To perform quality check and stock count.
    • To manage stock accuracy and ensure the physical stock tally with system.
    • To control the inventory related documentation and database.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Diploma / Degree holder in Business Studies, Economics, Accounting or equivalent.
    • Preferable with 2 years of related working experience.
    • Computer literate and strong in Microsoft Excel.
    • Required languages: English and Chinese.
    • Good administrative skills.
    • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

  7. Accounts Executive / Assistant

    Responsibilities:

    • To handle of full set accounts including preparation of management report.
    • To manage daily accounting operations.
    • To ensure all accounting records are properly maintained and reconciled.
    • To prepare and analyze proper inventory costing, reconciliation and control.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must posses at least LCCI / Diploma or Advance / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
    • Preferable with 2 years of related working experience.
    • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
    • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
    • Able to multiple task efficiently and in an organized way.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  8. Internal Audit Executive / Senior Executive

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify all auditable activities and relevant risk factors and to assess their significance and adequacy of the internal control system.
    • Provide assurance on compliance to statutory requirements, laws, company policies and guidelines.
    • Perform analysis, critiques and evaluation to determine legal, contractual and financial compliance, economy, and efficiency and performance effectiveness.
    • Ensure audits are conducted in a thorough and objective manner within established plans and schedules and that recommendations are developed and presented which provide a sound basis for corrective actions and improvement.
    • Present findings to affected managerial personnel, explaining findings, providing advise on internal controls, acceptable practices and procedures and efficiency issues and promote implementations of recommendations.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree / Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent.
    • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field including IT Audit.
    • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
    • Good communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
    • Posses own transport and must be willing to travel.

  9. Administration Assistant / Executive

    Responsibilities:

    • To provide administrative support for the required department.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must posses at least Certificate or Diploma in any discipline with minimum of 1 year working experience.
    • Proficient in MS Word and Ms Excel.
    • Good administration, organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to multiple task efficiently and in organized way.

  10. Sales Executive / Assistant

    Responsibilities:

    • To provide excellent customer service to our customers at retail outlet and to achieve assigned sales target.
    • To be an ambassador for the represented brand and portray a professional image consistent with established image guidelines.
    • To ensure best in class of store and product management in terms of safety compliance, tidiness and visual merchandising.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum SPM qualification with one year of sales experience in gold and jewellery industry.
    • Good sales presentation and customer service skills and with proven sales track record.
    • Formal training on product knowledge is provided for successful candidates.
    • Sales driven and result oriented.
    • Able to work on retail hours or shift work.

  11. Cashier

    Responsibilities:

    • To ensure the accuracy of sales transaction and maintain proper cash flow report.
    • To provide administration support to branch.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum SPM qualification with one year of related working experience.
    • Able to work on retails hours or shift work.

Working location for position 1-9 : Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Working location for position 10-11 : Major shopping complex throughout Malaysia.
